VIRTUAL INSTRUMENT
O  S  C  I  L  L  O  S  C  O  P  E
The objective of this project is to develop a Unity3D app which simulates the simplified working of the Oscilloscope.
The Oscilloscope is a graph displaying device used to measure voltage and display waveforms of electronic signals. 

In this project, the Unity3D app developed by the students will be used to teach engineering students on how to use an oscilloscope. This app can also be used at the user’s convenience.

3 D   M O D E L S
The 3D models were created using Cinema4D. We tried to keep the polygon count for the models as small as possible so as to optimize performance.

Screen Textures
These sample textures were made using Adobe Photoshop and are afterwards imported into unity as a PNG file.
Control Label Textures
Text labels were done in Unity and some were created from Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop before importing it to Unity, eg :  the knobs for vertical and horizontal volts/div and time/div.
S C R I P T I N G
Displaying the waveform 
- Press the On Button
- Unpress the GND Button
- Set the Mode Lever to CH 1
Trigger the waveform 
- Set the Source Lever to CH 1
- Adjust the Level Knob
Changing the scale of the waveform
Vertical Scale
Horizontal Scale
Turn the Vertical Position Knob
Press the AC / DC Button
